Singapore Satellite will see 14 startups pitch on stage at the Microsoft Campfire event.
Day One of Microsoft Campfire ended today with the audience being treated to a day of interesting technical talks on the latest technology topics. Tomorrow, the Microsoft Imagine Cup finals will take place, followed by the much awaited Singapore Satellite. The Satellites are e27′s regional tour to find some of the best startups in Asia. The team has just concluded the Indonesia and Philippines Satellite, and we must say that we have found some gems of the ecosystem.
The pitching lineup tomorrow is as follows:
AtticTV – a music video site with the ability to easily create personal playlists and share music over Facebook
nFlick City Guide – a personalized city guide mobile app
Dropmyemail – an elegant SAAS backup solution
Cruxbot – a web summarization tool
Converxation – a lifestyle advertising and research site
Learnemy – a web application to help learners find that perfect instructor
Perx – a mobile platform to help merchants identify and grow loyal customers
Flocations – a travel site with a visual representation of travel data
CloudyRec – server-side backend platform for mobile app and game developers
ArtKred – an e-commerce platform for art lovers
Goinout – a mobile social nightlife network
Flexiroam – a roaming solution for travelers
XpressCover – an express courier insurance product
TinyTrunk - an e-commerce platform, e-commerce training and destination shopping portal for independent boutiques
These 14 shortlisted startups will pitch to our panel of judges made out of Johan Kremer (Research In Motion), Mohan Belani (e27), Monica Tsai (SingTel Innov8), Amit Anand (Jungle Venture) and Kelly Choo (Brandtology).
