Disrupt University- This program combines frameworks from top idea accelerators in Silicon Valley, classes taught at Stanford University, and the practical knowledge and tools used by start up communities and tech companies in Silicon Valley. Classes at Disrupt University will cover a wide range of topics with a focus on the following important areas: Lean startup, business model innovation, design thinking, pitch perfect, venture capital fundraising and idea networking.
Thumbsup- ”thumbs up” is a leading tech blog from Bangkok. The blog has been reporting on local technology, social media movement and the digital business since early 2011. Their content has been syndicated in the top publications in Thailand. They are tech professionals who have been in the industry for over a decade, earning our stripes from many leading tech companies.
Blognone- Blognone was founded in August 27, 2004 with the goal of becoming an independent IT news with quality content. The blog provides in depth information to interested people in the IT industry. Content on the site includes computers, IT, telecommunications and life in the digital world.
Mobile Technology for Thailand- Mobile Technology for Thailand (MT2) is an aggregator site that collates all information on mobile tech startups, communities and news in Thailand.
Google Techology User Group (GTUG) Thailand- GTUGs are user groups for people who are interested in Google’s developer technology. This spans everything from the Android and App Engine platforms, product APIs like the YouTube API and the Google Calendar API, to initiatives like OpenSocial. Check out code.google.com for the full list of offerings.
Join GTUG Thailand’s Facebook group to stay updated to their latest events, hackathons etc.
Mobile Monday Bangkok- MobileMonday (MoMo) is an open community platform of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influential individuals fostering brand neutral cooperation and cross-border P2P business opportunities through live networking events to demo products, share ideas and discuss trends from both local and global markets. Originating from Helsinki, Finland in 2000, events are organized by some 300 dedicated volunteers from around the world and has become an industry leading mobile platform. Chapters have held events in over 100 cities worldwide and continues to launch new locations monthly. This is the Bangkok chapter for Mobile Monday.
Agile66- A group of people who are interested in Agile framework. Started off by a group of scrum framework enthusiast who met during Barcamp Bangkok 3.
