Asia’s Dropbox, Kleii, reaches 100K registered users in 3 months

Vietnamese cloud storage service KleiiKleii, Asia’s Dropbox, has reached an impressive 100,000 registered users since launching their beta three months ago. The site sees 120,ooo file uploads monthly.

Last month, e27 covered the 12 man (10 men and two ladies, to be exact) team from Vietnam who are building a cloud computing platform for storing, syncing and sharing data called Kleii. Today, the startup announced some impressive achievements since their beta launch.

Kleii’s numbers since beta launch

  • 100,000 registered users (up from 40,000 just two months ago)
  • three million megabytes of data transferred per day
  • 210,000 monthly unique visitors (up 700 percent from 30,000 unique visitors in July)
  • 120,000 file uploads seen monthly

Kleii’s strategy, as explained on their blog, is to understand their users and the needs they have. The team takes time to solve the problems of their users and bring to them what they need in their product. Users can expect more features to be added to Kleii and more platforms supported by the service within the month.
