LAUNCHPAD, Thailand’s latest co-working space, has launched last week. Check out their facilities.

Shortly after HUBBA shared with us how coworking spaces are playing an important role in supporting startup ecosystems, Thailand welcomes its latest coworking space. LAUNCHPAD is a new 800 sqm coworking space located in the Silom area just 400 meters from the Surasak BTS station. As for how the idea came about, LAUNCHPAD was born from the pain of the founding team when they were looking for an office space for their iOS startup company, Charged Concept Co., Ltd.

“A 30-50 sqm office space for rent is not an easy option to find out there in the market, they usually cost around 15 – 20,000 Thai Baht in rent per month and you still ended up having to pay a hefty amount for cost of interior design,” said Vincent Sethiwan, co-founder of Launchpad and Charged Concept. “Even if you decided to go with that option, it’s not possible to have meeting rooms built to impress your customers, game room for relaxation, a quite area to concentrate, or a high-ceiling recreational area to catalyze your creativity.”

LAUNCHPAD comes equipped with 120 work-desks, five beautiful meeting rooms, a big recreational area padded with artificial grass, a game room with ping-pong table and various gaming consoles, a quiet area with noise-insulated walls, leased line internet from TRUE, all topped off with refreshments from BRUSH Bangkok, a café operated by Roast Coffee & Eatery.

The space is open for a variety of customers, be it freelancers, people who want an alternate working environment, or startups. LAUNCHPAD also features a group of mentors who help accelerate startup businesses.

More information can be found on the company’s Facebook page.
