EGUARDIAN partners McAfee to provide Security-as-a-Service in Southeast Asia

EGUARDIAN announced today that it has secured a partnership agreement to deliver McAfee’s security technologies to customers in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The company is a value added distributor of technology products and services in Southeast Asia.

The partnership will see EGUARDIAN offering McAfee’s enterprise grade, cloud-based anti-virus platform to both large organisations as well as small-and-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) as part of its Security-as-a-Service offerings.

In the press release, Kaiyang Cai, CEO of EGUARDIAN said, “With the current paradigm shift in cloud technology and SaaS adoption, we believe that such an offering will offer tremendous value to both our partners and joint clients. We chose McAfee as our security technology partner to power our Security-as-a-Service Platform because of their leadership in delivering proactive and proven security solutions.”

Nearly 72 percent of data breaches happens to companies with less than 100 employees. The trend of targeting SMBs has been increasing.
