DeNA partners game develper Nexon for better gaming experience

e27-dena-nexonDeNA has been anything but shy when it comes to spreading its social base globally.

DeNA has seen various partnerships and recently they have added a new member to the group. DeNA announced its collaboration with free-to-play online game developer Nexon. This partnership sees DeNA in providing marketing support as Nexon continues to produce more games to the Mobage platform. Nexon has been working with DeNA before this and Nexon’s subsidiaries such as Nexon Korea and Gloops have promised to bring a few international and Japanese games to Mobage in 2013. Nexon, also better known as the creator of Maple Story, already has more than 100 million users who signed up for the original game in 60 different countries. As a result of this partnership, DeNA returns the favour by providing “top-tier marketing support”.

With this agreement, both companies will work closely on game development and operations on certain games. Not to mention they will also work together in developing games by utilising their expertise to provide us with better mobile gaming experiences. With the expansion of mobile usage, a step up towards an improved gaming experience is definitely something that most of us can look forward to. According to Nexon’s CEO, Seungwoo Choi, “This alliance is a compelling next step in extending Nexon’s mobile strategy, which is also consistent with our vision of growing our presence in the expanding global mobile market”.

DeNA’s recent revamp in its branding and logo is to unite all DeNA owned companies worldwide.
