Vietnam’s mobiistar launches sub-US$200 flagship Android phone

Popular Vietnamese smartphone brand, mobiistar, launched its flagship Android phone today. The mobiistar touch KEM 462 is equipped with a 4.6 inch 16-million-colors LCD screen, 8 megapixel camera, dual-core 1GHz CPU and 1GB RAM. The phone also features dual SIM card options, the Opera Mini mobile browser and runs on Android 4.0 OS.

30th January, the same day that Canadian smartphone manufacturer Research In Motion is launching their BlackBerry 10 devices globally. The touch KEM 462 will retail at VND 3,990,000 (around US$190)

mobiistar is own by Mobile Start Corporation in Vietnam. The smartphone brand was launched in June 2009.
