AMD continues commitment to gaming with ‘Never Settle: Reloaded’ bundle

Assess. Adapt. Attack. These three words make up the mantra of any gamer looking to subdue and become the best. How else to do it but with AMD’s ‘Never Settle: Reloaded’ game bundle, sequel to the previous year’s game pack?

This year, as AMD announced today, “Never Settle: Reloaded” will deliver three of this year’s most anticipated PC games: “BioShock® Infinite” by 2K Games and Irrational Games, “Crysis® 3” by Electronic Arts and “DmC Devil May Cry™” by Capcom® ─ with select AMD Radeon™ HD 7900 and HD 7800 Series graphics cards.

This move by AMD highlights its continued commitment to ensure an epic gaming experience on the PC titles optimized for AMD Radeon™ graphics cards.

Matt Skynner, corporate vice president and general manager of AMD Graphics, said, “The ‘Never Settle: Reloaded’ bundle clearly stands apart from anything else in the market. Gaming has always been, and will remain, the core of the AMD Graphics strategy and success. In 2013, we plan to forge greater inroads into the gaming industry and it begins with packaging this year’s biggest games with the best graphics hardware from AMD.”

In the year ahead, AMD aims to strengthen its position as a graphics provider by focusing on four aspects – content with AMD working with game developers to come up with optimized games playable on AMD Radeon graphics; console experience, with console developers collaborating with the technology company for both gamers and game developers; cloud, where AMD aims to expand the boundaries of online gaming through partnerships with companies like CiiNow; and the continuation to deliver state-of-the-art graphics technology to have the best experience for gamers no matter what the platform is.

Cevat Yerli, CEO and president of Crytek, German video games company, added, “’Crysis 3’ pushes GPU technology even further and is the best looking game we have ever worked on, so we needed a hardware partner that could keep up with us. The AMD Gaming Evolved program clearly demonstrated that AMD Radeon and the Graphics Core Next architecture is what we needed.”

The AMD Radeon Never Settle: Reloaded bundle will be available at selected retail outlets in Singapore at the end of February 2013. Coupons for games included in the AMD Radeon Never Settle: Reloaded bundle will be provided by resellers when customers purchase AMD Radeon HD 7900 and HD 7800 Series graphics cards, and can be redeemed on the AMD Redemption portal.
