When life gives Vserv.mobi lemons, it partners Marmalade

Vserv.mobi partners Marmalade to simplify app development and monetizationLooking to simplify app development and monetization is Vserv, which just announced their partnership with cross-platform development tool Marmalade.

Vserv.mobi, a global mobile advertising network for app developers, publishers and advertisers, today announced its partnership with Marmalade, a cross-platform development tool. This will allow Marmalade’s developers to enable monetization using the Vserv AppWrapeper and profit from the capabilities of the Vserv AudiencePro platform.

It used to be that developers had to build native apps from scratch repeatedly to place them on the various mobile platforms. The cross-platform SDK provided by Marmalade will solve this problem by allowing developers to use a single codebase to run on different platforms, such as iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 8, Windows and Mac desktop and various Smart televisions.

The network, founded in 2010, told The Financial Express in January that it aims to hire 100 people this year, as it set its eyes on revenue of at least US$100 million by end 2015.

Binay Tiwari, head of global marketing at Vserv.mobi, said, “Vserv and Marmalade are strategically aligned when it comes to addressing the problems of the developer community by making app development & monetization simpler. We are committed to enabling powerful app monetization for developers across all platforms and are confident that this partnership will help push forward the global developer ecosystem.”

Tim Closs, Chief Technology Officer at Marmalade, highlighted that the partnership will enable Marmalade to take advantage of the various monetization methods offered. “At Marmalade we want to put the choice of how to produce and monetise apps firmly in the hands of developers. We’re pleased to be adding Vserv.mobi to our partners programme and look forward to seeing how Marmalade developers choose to take advantage of the wide range of monetization methods we offer through our SDK.”
