Dubbed as Asia’s version of Airbnb, travelmob has completed two eventful years. Riding on the wave of sharing economy trend, the company that offers many travellers home away from home has seen a significant growth in the last couple of years.
On its second birthday, the startup from the city-state has shared an interesting infographic on travelling behaviour and the milestones it has achieved.
travelmob is now available in more than 1,000 cities in 88 countries. It facilitates accommodation in apartments, houses, villas, B&Bs, cottages, etc. Turochas Fuad, CEO and Co-founder of travelmob shared that it currently has 30,000 listing on the website.
The service is serving guests from 97 countries worldwide. It is now available in 13 languages and uses 17 currencies.
The average money spent on booking per stay by a traveller is S$754 (US$603), while the average amount spent by one guest per night is S$44.17 (US$35).
