EasyVan marks first month in Singapore with special promotion


Delivery matching platform EasyVan wants to celebrate Singapore’s birthday too. This S$20 discount will do… for now


In celebration of its first month of operations in Singapore and the nation’s 49th birthday, Hong Kong-based delivery matching platform EasyVan has recently announced that the first 500 customers to use promo code ‘SG49′ will receive a S$20 (US$16) discount.

The campaign, open to all users in Singapore, will start from August 11, 2014 and end on August 17, 2014.

According to Gary Hui, Co-founder and Director, EasyVan, the average transaction amount in Singapore is about S$36 (US28.79). This includes services from various categories, including courier and parcel delivery which can cost anything from S$6 (US$4.80), booking an entire panel van from S$29 (US$23.19), booking an entire lorry from S$38 (US$30.39) and home moving services from S$59 (US$47.19).

In addition, the firm has announced that Blake Larson, former Managing Director (Hong Kong) and Asian Business Development, Easy Taxi, has joined EasyVan as a Board Advisor.
