About Pecha Kucha

Pecha Kucha Night was devised in February 2003 by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Tokyo’s Klein-Dytham Architecture (KDa) and quickly spread around the world. As of June 2012, PechaKucha Nights were being held in 534 cities worldwide.

The Singapore chapter of Pecha Kucha Night aims to grow the community through inspirational talks from leaders and innovators from various industries. Speakers come from diverse backgrounds, including local businesses, entrepreneurs, photographers, designers, writers, idea innovators, comedians, musicians and scientists. Pecha Kucha Night Singapore presents a cross section of Singapore, showing how remarkable this country and its people are, and introducing audiences to new ideas and happenings that might otherwise remain hidden
