Find that sumptuous Mother’s Day buffet with Buffet Mania

Ravesquare’s Buffet Mania rolls out their new look with extra features, just in time for Mother’s Day.

In Singapore, one of the common thing which bonds us is food. As Burpple launched a few days ago to help users collect their food memories, Buffet Mania, the iPhone application that allows users to discover and stay connected with their favorite buffets, too unveiled a new look with exciting features. On top of that, Buffet Mania told us that they are partnering K Box, Yum Cha Restaurant and Todai Singapore to help users select the appropriate buffet to celebrate Mother’s day, which is happening this weekend.

One of the key highlights of this update is the fact that buffet lovers are now able to “Heart”, or favorite, the buffet restaurants that they like. Enabling the features by logging through Facebook, buffet lovers are now able to be continuously updated on key information and updates from their favorite buffet restaurants. This is significant as not only does it allows the restaurants to communicate directly with a targeted group of end users, providing for a more sustainable mobile marketing outreach; restaurants are also empowered to make better marketing decisions.

Buffet Mania also works with food bloggers to feature the restaurant write-ups and reviews in the application. With this new feature, users are able to view reviews from well-known food bloggers before heading down to the restaurant. “During our journey with Buffet Mania, we received many positive responses from the restaurants as well as multiple comments from end users. Through these cumulated feedbacks, which also come from others such as our pool of product evangelists and the Future Media Test Bed project, we are able to create the new facelift with much improved features. Our clients are also excited as this will bring to them much value in return.” said Bryan Chua, who is a founder of Buffet Mania.

Since its launch, Buffet Mania has reached out to buffet lovers in Singapore and has generated more than 30,000 downloads in the first 10 days of being in the market. It was ranked as the #1 Lifestyle app and #2 in the Top 25 category.

Buffet Mania is available for download in the iOS app store, and the team will be rolling out an Android version very soon. For an extra surprise, try shaking the app and see what happens!
