Are you an established tech firm looking to market your product to banks and financial institutions? Or are you a newly-founded startup focusing on the latest and greatest in financial technology such as Bitcoin? If you are either, read on!
Having successfully launched in 2010 in New York and in London in 2013, the FinTech Innovation Lab is coming to Asia Pacific in 2014. An accelerator program that gives start-ups and early stage companies the opportunity to work with technology mentors at leading financial services institutions, the program will be run in Hong Kong from the end of September to early December 2014.
This innovative 12-week mentoring program is your opportunity to work with potential future customers and perfect your value propositions, gain unique insights into the banking industry, and build strong relationships with industry players.
Program participants will receive advice and guidance from designated mentors to optimise their products and make them more applicable to the industry’s needs. The financial services institutions involved in the program as mentors this year include Barclays, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Development Bank of Singapore, HSBC, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Ping An Group and UBS.
In addition to mentoring, there will also be strategy development and pitch coaching sessions with senior Accenture executives and experienced advisors. You can look forward to workshops and panel discussions on key topics such as procurement, regulation and industry trends. Finally, the programme generates great PR opportunities for participant companies and their products as well.
The FinTech Innovation Lab Asia Pacific is completely free of charge and we do not take equity stakes in the start-ups. Applications for this year’s programs will occur from 1 – 31 July 2014.
What are you waiting for? Be the next bridge between finance and technology today!
