Valuklik, an Indonesia-based performance marketing strategy startup specialising in the use of Google SEO (search engine optimisation) and SEM (search engine marketing), has received an undisclosed amount of seed funding from East Ventures.
Valuklik will use the capital to strengthen its services and expand media offerings, which will span the full spectrum of digital marketing, including paid and natural search, performance display, paid social, analytics and mobile marketing.
“Our primary goal is to help businesses achieve the highest return on their marketing initiatives. We do this by developing performance driven strategies that achieve our clients’ business goals and create exponential growth. East Ventures is a great partner as we continue to scale our business and we’re excited to have them on board,” said Liviu Nedef, Managing Director, Valuklik.
The company, based in Jakarta and Malang, currently has a staff of around 30 and has plans to expand in Southeast Asia. Valuklik counts the likes of Telekomsel, L’oreal and Acer among its list of clientele.
Willson Cuaca, Managing Partner, East Ventures said, “We are impressed with how focussed the team is on developing a leadership position and happy to be working together to create a market leader.”
East Ventures’ investment into Valuklik comes as recent reports indicate that the internet penetration rates in Indonesia have reached an all-time high.
