[Singapore] Bubbly TechTalk: Scaling your backend with Scala
Bubbly TechTalk: Scaling your backend with ScalaBy e27 Editorial Staff 12 Jul, 2013
Welcome to the first Bubbly Techtalk. This is where we will share our views and experience in the tech field, and mingle with the vibrant tech community in Singapore.
Team Bubbly would like to invite you to the Scala Party.
If you follow recent trends in server technology, you have probably noticed that Twitter & LinkedIn have both switch major parts of their infrastructure to Scala. LinkedIn also uses the Play framework. These changes were made to fix real world scale problems. We faced a similar problem at Bubbly and would like to walk you through how we solved it. We will cover our architectural design, how we verified the scalability and how we monitor it for reliability and performance.
Our speaker is Justin Mann, Bubbly’s CTO and our Scala mastermind.
Save a question or two, and see you!
This event is for engineers who are interested in Scala. We have limited seats so we need your RSVP.
