Hear an IT Manager’s journey of introducing ITIL in the Singapore office of a Japanese MNC
ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is an attractive concept. Its best practice heritage promises much but implementing it is often not a straightforward affair. In the case of a smaller IT environment, implementing ITIL can be quite a challenge.
This case study presents the experience of an IT Manager implementing ITIL in a SME-sized subsidiary of a Japanese MNC. He will share how he adapted ITIL into his greenfield environment with limited resources, and stakeholders who found the concept new. He will also share the practical issues he faced and the solutions he adopted.
