Microsoft Campfire will be happening on April 13 – 14 at SCAPE, featuring 3 main components – Microsoft Imagine Cup, Singapore Satellite of Echelon 2012 and presentations on the latest Microsoft technologies and other hot tech topics.
Key presenters for Microsoft Campfire will be Rob Miles, a Computer Science lecture at the University of Hull and blogger at www.robmiles.com, and Shane Morris, Australia’s most respected user experience professional. Attendees from the Singapore startup community can look forward to a hands-on exposure of the new Windows 8 platform, HTML 5, gamification, and other exciting topics.
Get a chance to catch Singapore’s rising entrepreneurs as 16 tertiary education teams pitch their ideas at the Imagine Cup to win a spot at the World Finals in Australia, later this year. The teams will be showcasing their social entrepreneurship products on center stage.
The Singapore Satellite, part of the Echelon 2012 6 city regional hunt for Asia’s best startups, will take place on Day 2 of the event, 14 April. Get a chance to see the next big Asian startup from Singapore and neighboring countries pitch their product to a panel of esteemed judges, made out of experienced entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders in global tech companies. These 10-15 startups will battle their way to secure a spot in the Top 50 that will exhibit at the main Echelon in June.
