Vietnam sees first ever Open Game Development Conference


In recent years, Vietnam’s game development industry has developed rapidly. In conjunction with that. VNG Corporation is holding the first ever Open Game Development Conference in Ho Chi Minh City.

Some of the speakers include Minh Le Hong, Founder, Chairman and Chief executive Office of VNG Corporation whom will be presenting a keynote on the Vision of Game Development Industry in Vietnam. Tetsuya Mori, Managing Director at DeNA Asia Pacific Holdings Pte. Ltd. will be presenting a keynote on Game Development – Driving Vietnam’s and Your Own Future, as well as Gemili from Tencent China, who will be talking about Cafelife – Developing an SNS game for Facebook.

“This is the first Vietnam Game Developer Conference and we strongly believe that the next ones will get bigger and better”, says Hong, CEO of VNG.VNG Corporation recently launched its gaming products to China and hit three million users there in just a short period of time.
