BCA Korea (BCA) recently raised $4.2M in investment from Hyundai Investment Partners. The two companies seek to strengthen the distribution and marketing of foreign cosmetic brands in Korea, as well as use their new partnership to lead the industry.

Since 2010, BCA has exclusively supplied major foreign makeup brands in Korea, starting with ARTDECO, Revlon, Catrice, Wet N Wild and Essence. The brands are distributed in leading Health & Beauty channels, such as Olive Young and Watson.

BCA has expanded into the online platform business to complement its offline presence. The company has also recently launched murmur, the first beauty crowdsourcing platform in the nation. Murmur creates its own consumer brands and provides consumer-centric brand experiences.
