ALUMNI

How is this different from TOP100 2016 and prior? What’s new?

TOP100 this year places a focus on selecting the 100 best startups to represent Asia. 100 startups are chosen from the initial pool of applicants in the TOP100 programme to exhibit at Echelon Asia Summit and pitch to a 4000-strong crowd.

Selected startups are also qualified to pitch to a panel of judges at Echelon Asia Summit for the chance to win awesome prizes.

What’s going to happen to qualifiers/satellite?

TOP100 this year does not include a 14 city qualifier tour. Instead, every startup is given the chance to compete for the chance to be in the TOP100 by participating in the TOP100 online program.

So what happens to the pitching at other Echelons (ECMY, ECTH)?

Each Echelon is independent of the TOP100 programme and can have their own versions of pitching that are not related to TOP100, unless stated.

Can a TOP100 alumni participate again?

Yes, all TOP100 alumni can participate again, but only new applicants will be eligible for qualification to represent their startups at Echelon Asia Summit.
