Silicon Valley-based Fenox Venture Capital has announced an investment into Dream Link Entertainment (DLE), an investment seen to aid DLE in penetrating the North American market and launching a strong global name. DLE has managed to raise a total of US$5.7 million from its team of investors.
DLE provides various business solutions for clients who want creative multimedia design, development, production and distribution. The animation studio has created over 100 original characters and 2,000 episodes since 2001. These include animations that have won “Best Animation” and “Best Director” at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.
“DLE has great potential to be a successful company in the global market,” said Anis Uzzaman, Co-Founder of Fenox VC, noting that the animation company is one of the “most innovative and successful flash animation companies in Japan.”
Meanwhile, DLE’s CEO Ryuta Shiiki says the company will benefit from Fenox VC’s reach in the US and Europe, which will be helpful in DLE’s expansion into the North American Market. “Anis and his team have an innate understanding of the Japanese culture and an unparalleled network in the US and Europe.”
