Opportunity is often born out of the ashes of failure. For Kent Wu, who was working at AOL at the time, the dot-com crash at the turn of the century eventually became his big break.

After a friend introduced Wu to airsoft gun technology, Wu went on to found the company Airsplat. Using Google Adwords and eBay, Wu grew Airsplat into the largets retailer in the sector and the company made the Inc. 500 list on multiple occasions.

In 2016, Wu sold Airsplat and is now working on an artisinal food delivery company called Milk and Eggs.
