Over 35 startups duked it out in an arena set up high in the air at Level 25 Maxis Tower, Kuala Lumpur. The reward? The opportunity to exhibit and pitch at this year’s Echelon Asia Summit in Singapore on June 28-29, S$500 cash prize and also six months free usage at any WeWork co-working space within Southeast Asia.
These startups were scored based on a few criteria including problem-solving, market size and scalability, revenue model, team, pitching clarity and ability to answer questions posed by the judges.
The judges were:

Dropee is a B2B marketplace with the aim of connecting retailers to wholesalers, manufacturers, and principals in a secure, easy, and efficient way. It offers over 200 brands including 100Plus, Anakku, Cadbury, F&N and Red Bull.
The platform aims to help suppliers and retailers digitise sales orders, track inventories and fulfilment of goods, and perform real-time analytical reports.
Runcloud.io is a service that provides hassle-free PHP Web Application & Server Management Panel that allow developers and agencies to manage and deploy web application to the cloud easily.
