A few days ago, we reported that tickets for The Internationals DOTA 2 Championships tournament at the Key Arena stadium in Seattle were on sale. If you’re planning on buying one now, you’re out of luck.

A report on onGamers said that 10,000 tickets were gone within an hour, including both general admission and VIP tickets. Game publisher Valve and venue owners Key Arena could not confirm if they would be selling a new wave of tickets.

The only way fans can now get tickets is through eBay. The general admission tickets were originally priced at US$99 on Ticketmaster, whereas the ones now available on eBay are going at a whopping US$500.

Eleven teams will be directly invited for the tournament to win a prize pool of more than US$2.5 million. Four regional qualifier matches will take place on May 12 to May 25. The winning team from each qualifier will receive an invite to compete in Seattle for the final spot. We predicted in the previous report that the big winners of last year’s Internationals tournament would be invited back again, such as Swedish team The Alliance and Ukraine team Natus Vincere (Na’Vi).
