BTIC 2012 brings Silicon Valley to Vietnam

With Silicon Valley being the the epicenter of tech startups, there is a lot that entrepreneurs around the world can learn from those that have made their mark in Silicon Valley. That is what BTIC 2012 is looking to bring to Vietnam.
Featuring key Silicon Valley innovators and entrepreneurs like Ed Fries, creator of xBox and founder of Funzio, Jamil Moledina, BTIC looks to impart local entrepreneurs with the knowledge from these experienced thought leaders. Adding some local flavor, BTIC will also feature some Vietnamese entrepreneurs who are building cool startups either locally or in the Valley. Get to hear from Silicon Valley-based Nam Do of Emotiv Systems Inc. and Le Hong Minh of VNG at the conference.
The one-day conference will also see six selected startups exhibit at the event. For startup interested to apply for BTIC 2012, head on over to their website to submit your application. Both Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese startups are eligible. The organizers will get in touch with the selected startups to provide them with more information.
BTIC 2012 will be held at the Eastern International University campus in Binh Duong. There will be transportation provided for the conference attendee coming in from Ho Chi Minh City.
BTIC is organized by the Technology & Innovation Center (TIC), which provides finance, facilities and expert advices for tech startups in Vietnam.
