Hello loyal e27 readers! We have good news…Echelon is spreading its wings! After the super success in Singapore in June this year, we now have plans to take Asia’s largest tech conference to Thailand.

Echelon Thailand will bring together international startups, tech industry players, businesses, as well as local startups and companies.

It will be held in Bangkok on September 18 and September 19, 2014.

As is tradition, Echelon Thailand will comprise satellite events that will be held in Thailand’s major cities, with startups pitching for a chance to enter the finale event in Bangkok.

Satellite events will be held in Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Bangkok. While Bangkok is the undisputed base for Thai startups, other cities are no slouch when it comes to having vibrant, dynamic startup culture, as evidenced by initiatives like Chiang Mai’s Pun Space co-working space.

For the main event, selected startups will be invited to exhibit and the top five startups will give a Lauchpad pitch in front of a panel of international and local judges.

With Echelon Thailand satellites, delegates will get a chance to hear from speakers representing each local city and the surrounding provinces, getting a more in-depth look at the challenges and opportunities facing local Thai markets. Investors and companies seeking a Thai presence will also get a chance to network with local entrepreneurs and government/business representatives. Who knows…this could be the start of a multimillion-dollar deal!

So, what are you waiting for? Book your place at the Echelon Thailand satellites for that deep dive into Thailand’s startup community!
