Mobile Monday Singapore explores Handsets for humanity: Mobile platforms for the people

Set for 8th of August, the Mobile Monday  Singapore will be organizing their next event themed “Handsets for humanity: Mobile platforms for the people”. Unlike their previous rounds of events, there will be some changes to improve the programme agenda and move beyond a “sales pitch & networking” event. This event will feature a panel of discussion on how mobile tech helps people in emerging markets with access to finance, education, and information.

Some of the confirmed panelists include Mathieu Le Bras, CEO and founder of 8Villages as well as Karthik Balasubramanian, Head of Nokia Life, Southeast Asia. The panel is to be moderated by Anju Aggarwal, the Deputy Director of SingTel’s Group Strategy Office himself.
