Shortly after its launch last month, Singapore-based mobile wireless router provider Yourwifi today rolled out three plans for outbound corporate business travellers in the country. They are XCom Global Corporate Program (XCP), Long-term use plan, and Volume discount plan.

Noritaka Kobayashi, Founder and CEO, Yourwifi, explained his motivations behind rolling out the aforementioned three plans. He said, “We have been receiving many inquiries from companies in Singapore about corporate plans and packages as they continue to look at cost efficiency for staff connectivity on business travel. To address them, we have launched the XCP, a monthly fixed rate data connection service.”

XCP offers a monthly fixed rate plan for companies to handle data connection expenses without worrying about variable costs. The programme bases the cost on the number of registered staff, and does not take into account the number of business trips committed a month. However, do note that travellers will have to be registered in advance.

The company is also offering a special discount on XCP, as seen in the image above. While the usual monthly fixed price is S$2,880, which amounts to S34,560 a year, users get to enjoy a month’s free subscription if they sign up for monthly payment before the end of March 2014. In addition, if customers choose to pay for a year’s usage straightaway, they will get to enjoy a 10 per cent discount.

Here’s the list of 18 locations under the Flat 18 option: Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Macau, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, US, and the UK. The Flat 42 plan, on the other hand, has New Zealand, Canada, Germany, France, Netherland, Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Russia, Czech Republic, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, Morocco, and South Africa, in addition to countries from Flat 18.

Aside from XCP, Yourwifi is also offering its long-term rental plan, which targets employees who travel frequently for business trips, and its volume discount plan, which provides a discount for the number of travel days used every month.

According to the official website, Yourwifi compares its long-term use plan to data roaming costs from SingTel, a local telecom conglomerate:

Customers can opt to collect the router at Yourwifi’s office in Singapore at 20 Collyer Quay, or have it delivered to their address via courier service. They can also choose from the two options for returning the device.
