It’s been nearly half a year since e27‘s jobs portal was launched, and we’ve gotten 328 jobs from 173 companies! While previously we’ve introduced jobs based on type and field of work, this week’s featured jobs are a little different.

If you, our dear reader, have been looking at our jobs site, you may have noticed that most jobs are based in Singapore. However, we’ve been getting job ads from other Asian countries recently, and this week we’ll be bringing you three from Malaysia, truly Asia!

Business Intelligence Analyst at Duriana
Named after the King of Fruits, Duriana is a peer-to-peer mobile marketplace that shows users products in their immediate vicinity, providing instant communication between sellers and buyers. It has achieved pretty good growth in Malaysia, with 80 per cent of its over 110,000 listings coming from there.

Now, as Duriana wants to continue its growth in Malaysia, it is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to be an expert on business operating metrics, providing insights and strategic recommendations to management for m-commerce. If you’re a graduate based in Kuala Lumpur and have two years of experience in an analyst role, why not give it a shot?

Software Engineer at Zalora
Founded in early 2012, Zalora is one of Asia’s top fashion e-commerce portals, with operations in Southeast Asian countries ranging from Malaysia to the Philippines. After its US$112 million funding from Access Industries and Scopia Capital, Zalora plans to grow its portfolio and continue to serve products and services to customers in Southeast Asia and beyond.

To realise these plans, it will be needing a software engineer to take care of the back-end application software of the site. Like the job at Duriana above, this job will be based in Kuala Lumpur as well. If you have a degree or diploma in computer science or information technology and experience in a wide range of web programming languages, you’re welcome to apply.

Operation Executive at Giovanni International Sdn. Bhd
Giovanni International Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an operations executive for its online shopping mall Bagustore. Being one of Malaysia’s largest marketplaces, Bagustore provides a high quality platform that serve the needs of industries across the nation.

Now, Giovanni International needs an operations executive to take care of the routine tasks involved in the running of its platform, which include content and product management, customer care and service, and SEO and social media campaigns. Unlike the above two jobs, this one is in Puchong, Selangor though, so if you are based there, are committed and have a thirst for knowledge in the internet marketing arena, this job could be for you!
