We have conquered quite a fair bit since the last Echelon Thailand in 2014.

Indonesia, done. Singapore, done. Malaysia, done. 14 Regional Qualifiers, done.

So when it came to planning for Echelon Thailand, one of our big scale events of 2015, we put our heads together, looked at a world map and thought hard – what more can we do? The answer came to us, why choose just one country when you can choose an entire region? That’s how Echelon Thailand: Your Gateway to Tomorrow’s Mekong came about.

Attracting both local and international speakers, investors, mentors and the tech community across the Mekong region, delegates will be engaged in high-level keynotes and panel discussions, as well as rigorous breakout sessions and structured networking opportunities. All designed to give you and your enterprise the edge and connections needed in today’s ever-changing transboundary tech ecosystem.

Here is a preview of some of the opportunities that await you at the two days of power-packed conference:

1. Generate more regional exposure for startups in the Mekong region

Positioned as the cornerstone technology conference involving delegations from the Mekong region, Echelon Thailand aims to accelerate scaling for companies to expand to new regional markets, connect companies to talents for bigger opportunities, and for startup teams to attain global insights from regional and global leaders.

Be there to witness the next big homegrown startup take to the global stage following in the steps of Echelon alumni Wishbeer, Taamkru and Builk.

2. Receive global insights from regional leaders

Meet and engage with the thought leaders who want to inspire and lead the next generation of billion dollar startups, the ones bursting with insights and almost-dangerous ideas, and most importantly, the ones who have a unique viewpoint of the Mekong region and its potential in not just Asia, but in the global tech scene.

Already joining the Echelon Thailand 2015 family is Eddie Thai (500 Startups), Charles Rim (Tapjoy), Adrian Vanzyl (Ardent Capital), Moo Natavudh (Ookbee) and Vineet Tanwar (Google), to name a few.

3. Represent the up-and-coming Mekong Tech Ecosystem (or be there to witness those who did)

The ever popular Startup showcase is back this time around too.

The top startups from the Mekong region selected from regional qualifiers will make their way to Bangkok for mentorship, as well as to showcase their goods to over 1,000 attendees at Echelon Thailand 2015. They will then fight for the top title of Most Promising Startup by pitching on stage to a panel of international judges.

4. Showcase your best side at Tech Alley

Tech Alley caters to the increasing demand from growth stage technology companies in need of a no-frills model to engage the core Echelon delegates for business and partnership opportunities. Tech Alley also comprises some of our core Sponsors to ensure that they receive the maximum exposure.

5. Networking with key players in the tech industry

Mingle and schmooze with influential VCs, Investors, Media and more from around the globe to get your chance to present an elevator pitch or get one-on-one personalised advice. Don’t leave anything to chance – you could meet your next investor at Echelon Thailand!

All this and more to bring you the best of the Mekong region at Echelon Thailand 2015!
