After winning the regional Seedstars World (SSW), Bandung-based eFishery is currently on its way to Geneva, Switzerland, to seize a bigger prize: US$500,000 equity investment. However, it has to beat the other 35 startups first before claiming its victory.
SSW is an exclusive competition for the best tech-based startups all over the world. After months of visiting 36 countries to find finalists from each country, the final round of the competition will be held in Geneva on February 4, 2015.
Previously, eFishery came out victorious in SSW Jakarta, beating the other 20 finalists back in September 2014. At the moment, they are reported to be joining three days bootcamp which is held by EPFL, one of the most prominent engineering schools in Europe, and a number of international investors and mentors from reputable accelerators like Bbooster, The Founder’s Institute, and Chinaccelerator, as well as Galixo strategic consultant which will train them to develop their business model.
