ASIA’S PREMIERE FINTECH CONFERENCE & SHOWCASE
FinTech Finals (FF17) returns to Hong Kong in 2017 for its second year, after the overwhelming success of the inaugural event in January 2016. The premiere FinTech competition for Asia will be held once again at PMQ on 18-19th of January 2017.
FF17, organised by Next Money is brought to you by Visa with support from InvestHK, The Senjo Group and Oracle Financial Services, and is part of the StartmeupHK Festival which will take place throughout the week of January 16th in various locations throughout Hong Kong. The 40+ impressive line-up includes FinTech leaders such as
Brett King, CEO of Moven, Howard Lindzon, CEO of Stocktwits and Amy Lo, Head of Greater China, Wealth Management at UBS.
The highlight of FF17 is the startup competition which takes place on the second day. Twenty-four hopeful startup teams from around the world will pitch in front of 1000 attendees of angel investors, venture capital firms and FinTech enthusiasts, along with a panel of expert judges. The ‘Best in Show’ winner of FF17 will win USD$10,000 as well as support for their business through Next Money’s cloud and API partners, and access to affiliated workshops and innovation lab facilities.
TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY
There are two exclusive events the day before FF17:
• A FinTech Tour of neighbouring Shenzhen, and;
• A FinTech workshop on digital transformation.
WEDNESDAY 18TH JANUARY
A day of FinTech talks and panels presented by speakers from across the world. Plus five breakout tracks on the topics that matter:
• FinTech Hubs
Followed by a chance to mingle and network at the bars and pubs of Central Hong Kong.
THURSDAY 19TH JANUARY
A focus on the investor and entrepreneur world, with targeted talks and panels followed by the 2017 FinTech Finals pitch competition where 24 startups will be vying for the ‘Best in Show’ prize. The event will then close out at an iconic Hong Kong rooftop location to give you one last chance to network and create lasting connections with participants from across the globe.
