Ideabox.5-fin

Indonesia’s Ideabox ended last week with five winners being announced. These startups have the chance to take part in a four-month acceleration programme presented by Indosat, Mountain Kejora Ventures and Ooredoo Group.

The event concluded with a Pitch Battle of the remaining eight startups in an event participated by a total of 25 teams. Held in Kejora HQ, West Jakarta, the two-day bootcamp left participants feeling both excited and tense.

“I am so, so relieved it’s over!” said Nala Achmad Kencana, Chief of Construction at Karental, one of the winning startups.

“We have been living on the edge in the past days, but finally there is a good news in my life!” he added.

So what is the team’s focus in the next four months?

“The plan is to add more suppliers, and certainly to increase sales, even if we have to do it manually at first,” explained Kencana. “Our target is that during this incubator, we will be able to get 1,000 new users, within two-three months.”
