Tokobagus.com, the largest classifieds site in Indonesia, has announced the change of its name to OLX.co.id today. This signifies the company joining the world’s largest brand for online classifieds OLX, where millions of people sell their second-hand belongings in local markets.
“Becoming OLX after such a great run as Tokobagus is a big move that demonstrates our ambition to help all Indonesians sell their second-hand items and earn money that can be used to upgrade their lives,” said Michal Klar, Managing Director, OLX.
This also means a new logo and new URL. If you access tokobagus.com today, it will lead you directly to the new URL. All other parts of the online selling platform will remain unchanged. The company mission will continue to be defined by the existing tagline ‘Cara tepat, jual cepat’ (translation: Right way to sell fast). The platform also has mobile apps on Android, iOS and BlackBerry.
As per the official statement, OLX users will still be able to enjoy the same services and all of these will remain easy, fast and free of charge. Existing usernames and passwords will also remain the same. All ads will appear on OLX with no action required by sellers.

Alif Priyono, Chief Operating Officer, OLX.co.id said, “We are already the largest site for online selling in Indonesia, and becoming OLX.co.id and joining a global brand will help us to extend our lead even further as we provide the fastest and easiest way for users to sell and shop for high-quality second-hand products. Just use your phone to take a picture, post and sell.”
To announce the development to the existing users, Tokobagus has launched a new TV ad.
