JOB DESCRIPTION

The M&E-commerce Executive, is responsible for developing partnerships with media channels. He/She is also responsible for formulating marketing and media plans to support campaigns and drive traffic and sales to the m&ecommerce site. The following outlines duties as needed/required: M&E-commerce
• Integrate online marketing activities with offline activities
• Develop and execute SEO and SEM to drive traffic and sales to the ecommerce site
• Develop email strategies with the CRM team to drive sales
• Leverage on Facebook, blogs and other social media channels to drive awareness and sales
• Continuously seek out innovative ideas and new media channels to recommend to the team. Be at the forefront of digital and media trends.
• Develop and execute innovative, customer-driven digital marketing plans that will lead to customer purchase and recommendation.
• Track, analyse and report on campaign effectiveness on sales.
New Media
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key media partners and sponsors. (e.g. tertiary institutions, banks and media owners)
• Responsible for building a robust pipeline of third-party relationships.
• Initiate joint activities, marketing and advertising collaboration with partners.
• Develop and rollout media kit
• Initiate and develop ideas for collaborations and expanding business opportunities.
• Identify third-party relationships that can grow distribution, acquisition, and revenue.
• Execute and deliver outcomes on strategy development, deployment, and acquisition / revenue results
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• M&E-commerce: 50%
• New Media: 50%

Pre Requisite
• Minimum diploma in Digital Media or equivalent.
• 3 years of digital media and media partnership experience.
• Able to think out-of-the-box and creatively solve problems.
• Requires a good understanding of integrated media, with an emphasis on digital and social media.
• Able to process time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions on this data, and to effectively communicate the related required actions to others.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilising resources from across the organization.
• Comfortable with new technology and familiarity with e-commerce technologies / trends.
• Demonstrated ability to solve-problems and drive quantifiable results.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
