Two-year-old Singapore-based logistics company RocketUncle has today announced expanding into Malaysia and the Philippines, alongside a name change to Zyllem.

In a statement, the firm noted that the name Zyllem was inspired from the botanical term ‘xylem’. The company has redirected its website and other offerings to one reflecting rebranding efforts.

Noam Berda, CEO and Co-Founder, Zyllem, said, “With the rebrand, we aspire to ‘open the world’ by enabling [the] distribution of goods globally.”

The company’s range of solutions allows businesses, regardless of size, to outsource deliveries to Zyllem via an online system. Clients can also track parcels and log customer support tickets on the same platform.

Same-day delivery services will be rolled out in Klang Valley of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and the metropolitan parts of Manila, the Philippines.

Berda added that he is looking for partnership opportunities, be it from local or regional players across Asia.

The company claims to have a base of more than 5,000 customers.
