Jakarta-based loyalty service provider tech startup Member.id announced today that they have raised an undisclosed amount of Pre-Series A funding led by East Ventures, Ace Capital, and a few of undisclosed angel investors.

Member.id eyes on changing loyalty landscape in Indonesia, especially for SMEs. “Many businesses still find managing loyalty programs and points to be a challenge with users don’t know how to check their points balance let alone redeem it. We want to create a hassle-free customer journey and predict the user behavior to create a much more targeted campaign,” said Marianne Rumantir, CEO and Co-Founder of Member.id.

Member.id is now focusing on building consumer’s point management that will enable users for point conversion across rewards programs. Next, SMEs-focused product will allow businesses to have a loyalty program as well.

Member.id’s Chief Strategy Officer Robert Tedja added that Member.id is also exploring the option of machine learning, blockchain, and data science to create value for their customers.

In the past, Member.id’s portfolio included the well-known lifestyle chain and music promotor ISMAYA Group, that used Member.id’s membership service to grow their customer acquisition by over 1,000 per cent in 12 months by creating a more experiential benefit to their loyal customers.
