Startupbootcamp Fintech is adding Bangkok to its line-up of FastTrack events, which offer startups a glimpse into the value of a Startupbootcamp programme.

Startupbootcamp, founded in 2010, is a global startup accelerator that has seen 240 startups graduate, 80 per cent of whom are still active. Startupbootcamp FinTech, which was launched in 2014 and is based in Singapore and London, is its financial technology arm.

The one-day event is open to early-stage startups specialising in fintech and looking for expert advice, mentorship and exposure. It will be held at CIMB Thai Bank’s head office.

“We are excited to be hosting our first FastTrack event in Bangkok. Thailand is full of entrepreneurial talent and is a market ripe for startups focussing on mobile payments and financial inclusion,” said Steven Tong, MD of Startupbootcamp FinTech.

Successful applicants will have an opportunity, on November 25, to pitch before a group of mentors and gain feedback on their product, business model and pitching skills.

After the FastTrack tour ends its journey across 16 locations in the Asia Pacific, Startupbootcamp FinTech will select 10 startups to take part in its three-month accelerator in Singapore in 2016.
