The e-payment space has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years. In 2014, a report by Frost and Sullivan cited an estimated US$34 billion worth of transactions were conducted online. A surge in the popularity of e-commerce has been a key driver in the growth of online transactions, and a drastic leap in smartphone adoption has also pushed up the volume of online transactions in emerging markets such as Indonesia.
Besides leading online payment giant PayPal, the emergence of blockchain, crowdfunding and p2p technologies have allowed more e-payment solution providers to spring up.
