FAQ
Is there a specific vertical or stage for startups that can join TOP100?
No, as long as it falls under general technology, we will consider that as the minimum criteria
My product has not launched yet, can I still join TOP100?
We only accept startups whose products or services are live, preferably revenue generating.
If I qualify for TOP100, does it mean I automatically qualify for the SAFE STEPS D-TECH Awards?
No. Once you have indicated in the TOP100 sign up sheet that you want to join SAFE STEPS D-Tech Awards, your information will be assessed by the SAFE STEPS D-Tech Awards team based on their own program criteria.
Will I need to do a virtual pitching to be invited to join TOP100 program?
No pitching is required at this stage. Your qualification for TOP100 will be based on the initial scoring done based on startup and fundraising information you submit through your e27 startup profile
First physical pitch will take place on the TOP100 Stage at the Echelon Asia Summit 2023 for semi-finalists.
I'm not based in Asia but I am planning to expand operations there in 3 months, can I join TOP100?
Yes, you can and should.
Are there any costs or fees associated in joining the TOP100 Program ?
There is no fee in applying for the program and enjoying its immediate benefits (Pro Connect + certain media coverage). For semi-finalists, there will be a USD 500 fee to cover your exhibition cost at Echelon Asia Summit Conference in June.
What if I am not fund raising ?
The TOP100 Program focuses on highlighting and showcasing emerging startups; you can continuing to participate as long as your main goal is to showcase and pitch your startup and its core solution.
Will there be prizes for the winners of the competition?
At the semi-finals level, we will be awarding complimentary TOP100 package to 7 startups. Credits and access to services and solutions are also in the works with our partners and sponsors. More prizes and packages will be announced soon!
