Currently, the Advisor to Wolsey Securities Limited whose business is to fund house builders in UK. For Wolsey, there are phenomenal opportunities to fund them and would do so through a Shariah compliant fund of up to c£50m, which am currently advising them. It reflects the senior element of funding, and that would be able to deliver a cash on cash IRR for the investor of c8% using Wolsey's expertise
Am also a Mentor under the Cradle Investment Programme or CIP, my role is to mentor, coach and provide advisory services to the entrepreneurs in researching and developing their ideas and meeting their milestone. CIP focus on pre-seed funding programme for technology ideas. It enables budding innovators and aspiring innovative entrepreneurs to make the jump from just having an innovative technology idea to becoming a successful start-up.
Outside of work, I spend my time meeting and networking with people with similar interests ( some via Linkedin or other social media sites) and blog about social interests at http://www.xanga.com. Occasionally, I write my own blog at http://talkpropeller.blogspot.com/ and have not yet attained the Technorati Top 100 and the Advertising Age Top 20. However, I do aspire to reach to this level sometime in the near future.
