An award-winning information management professional, Craig Richardville stands out as the recipient of the 2017 Charlotte Business Journal CIO of the Year Leadership Award and the 2015 National CHIME-HIMSS John E. Gall Jr. CIO of the Year Award. Craig Richardville has also led information management teams that have received honors from Information Week, Leapfrog, 3M, and other organizations. Most recently, Craig Richardville served as the chief information and analytics officer for Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, North Carolina. There, he guided all cyber security, health information management, and other information-related initiatives for a network of more than 40 hospitals, 1,100 provider locations, and 60,000 employees. His achievements in this position included integrating new health care technology and information systems acquired through mergers over the course of nearly 20 years. Prior to joining Carolinas HealthCare System, Mr. Richardville held several leadership positions with ProMedica, a major nonprofit healthcare organization in the Toledo, Ohio area. Among other roles, he served as vice president and executive director of the organization’s for-profit division, Vanguard Health Ventures. Mr. Richardville holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems and an MBA in finance from the University of Toledo. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys fitness, theatre, and other live events.
