I aspire to forge social impact through opportunities with fellow stakeholders who believe in forging social change and innovation, especially via Research, Design Thinking, Data Analytics / Science, Partnerships, Programme Management. Public Policy and Strategic Planning.
Recently based at the Workplace Safety and Health Council, I worked with hospitals, workplaces and other stakeholders to help injured workers return to work in a safe and sustainable manner.
I formerly served in Central Singapore Community Development Council (CS CDC), part of the People's Association. I held many diverse portfolios in both the Corporate Services and Community Programmes functions. Portfolios in my Corporate Services roles included Corporate Development, Council Engagement and Estate / Office Admin. As a Community Programmes manager, I curated several initiatives which brought together diverse stakeholders to do social good for an inclusive and vibrant Central Singapore District.
Social causes that I have an interest include Special Needs, Sustainable Development, Social Innovation, Human Rights and Social Entrepreneurship. I am glad to have served in the NUS Students' Union; Students' Political Association and Students Against Violation of the Earth (SAVE) during my undergraduate studies at NUS.
I also volunteered with Syinc, a startup social innovation lab that combines design and consulting principles to address societal and policy challenges during my undergraduate years.
I picked up coding (Python, SQL, R) and explored various data analysis machine learning tools in Data Science, piqued by my exposure to Data Analytics through my professional pursuits!
Off work, I unwind by working out at the gym and hanging out at cafes piping jazz and classical music!
