Judges at Echelon Thailand 2014 loved Wishbeer, a Thailand-based e-commerce startup which sends beer to your doorstep. It was awarded the Echelon Thailand 2014 Most Promising Startup title last evening.

Said judges were Jeffrey Paine, Founding Partner, Golden Gate Ventures; Adrian Vanzyl, CEO, Ardent Capital; Dmitry Levit, General Partner, Digital Media Partners; Kuo-Yi Lim, Partner, Monk’s Hill Ventures; Amit Anand, Founding Partner, Jungle Ventures; Alan Hsu, Principal, GREE Ventures; Tony Williams, Co-founder and Chairman, Inspire Ventures; and Kaspar Zhou, Investment Manager, 500 Startups.

Thai-based credit card management startup Piggipo won the People’s Choice award, having generated the most number of votes in a short period of time.


The other contenders were SchoolOS, Golfdigg, My Motosai, Bookish, eatigo, and Skootar.

Both Wishbeer and Piggipo will receive one year subscription of PitchXO, a platform that helps startups improve their pitches. Furthermore, Wishbeer will get to exhibit at Echelon 2015 with travel and exhibition costs covered by Premier Sponsor Samsung Developers. All the best!
