Fashion e-commerce giant ZALORA today announced the appointment of Elias Pour as its new CMO.

Leading a team of over 150 people, Pour will oversee the full marketing operations of ZALORA Group.

Prior to joining the company, Pour was the Head of Digital for energy drink brand Red Bull, where he was responsible for its digital marketing, content production, and e-commerce sales in Asia Pacific.

Early in his career, Pour worked in both Sweden and Denmark and held key management positions for Volvo, Danske Bank, and Telenor.

He has been based in Australia in the last eight years and has worked for brands such as Adobe, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and Red Bull.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Digital Media from Raffles College of Design.

In February, ZALORA announced the resignation of its Group CEO Parker Gundersen, citing personal reasons.

A ZALORA spokesperson told e27 that the company’s search for his successor is still ongoing. In the meantime, Group COO Giulio Xiloyannis is coordinating the company’s commercial and operational functions.
